Claire L. Crudele

Claire L. Crudele, 85, of Coventry, passed away on Saturday, March 24, 2018. She was the wife of 63 years to Robert L. Crudele, Sr. Born in Pawtucket, daughter of the late Louis and Yvonne (Rogers) Lefebvre. Claire was an avid reader, crafter, and enjoyed playing cards and games with her family and making teddy bears and butterflies. She had a passion for cooking and baking. She loved to smell the ocean air, watch the waves, quahoging, and clamming. Most of all she enjoyed being a wife, mother and grandmother, and spending her time with her family. Besides her husband, she is survived by her children Nancy Lyle of Lincoln, Diane Peters of East Greenwich, Debra Morgan of Westerly, Robert L. Crudele, Jr. and his wife Eileen of Narragansett, and Lynda Williams and her husband Evan of Wakefield; grandchildren Michael Lyle, Jr, Andrew Lyle, Zachary Peters, Jonathan Peters, Gregory Morgan, Nicole Morgan, Kyle Morgan, Shannon Morgan, Abigail Crudele, Aaron Crudele, Ingrid Williams, and Jesse Williams; sister of Annette Lee and her husband Frank of Narragansett, Rita Conte and her husband Rick of Stoughton, MA; brothers Joseph Lefebvre of North Kingstown, Gerard Lefebvre and his wife Mary Lou of Cumberland and sisters-in-law Yvette Lefebvre of Pawtucket and Pauline Lefebvre of Lincoln. She was predeceased by her brothers Gilbert Lefebvre, Frances Lefebvre, and Leo Lefebvre, her sister Doris Keyser, sister-in-law Aline Lefebvre and brother-in-law Harold Keyser. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 from 9-11am in Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield, followed by A Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 pm in St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, 864 Pt. Judith Road, Narragansett. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Judes Childrens Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
