Cindy J. Deane

Cindy J. (Littlefield) Deane, 56, died peacefully at home on February 18, 2021 surrounded by her loving family and friends. Cindy was born September 28, 1964, the youngest of John Sr. and Evalene (Grimes) Littlefield’s four children. A lifelong island resident she graduated from Block Island School in 1982. She started working for Interstate Navigation in 1982 retiring in July 2019. Known for her quick wit and generosity. She was a great mom and loved her family. She fought hard and will be greatly missed. Cindy is survived by her son Quentin A. Deane and his wife Riley, her daughter Evalene M. Deane and her companion Shawn Stiles, her brothers John Jr. and Albert Littlefield, her sister Charon B. Littlefield and four nephews and one niece. In keeping with Cindy’s wishes, there will be a private memorial service at a later date. Donations in Cindy’s memory may be made to the Block Island Rescue Squad or the Block Island Volunteer Fire Department.
