Christopher T. Fagan

January 28, 1950 — April 26, 2025

Christopher Thomas Fagan, 75, of South Kingstown passed away peacefully in his home on Saturday, April 26th, 2025. Born in Wakefield, RI, he was the son of the late Thomas Fagan and Carol Browning.


In his early life, Chris attended South Kingstown High School and served his country in the United States Army. He went on to serve his home community as a builder and building inspector. He shared his lifelong love of volleyball as a coach for South Kingstown High School for over a decade, helping the program achieve 5 state championships. He will be remembered for his kindness, humor, and determination, as well as his love of animals, summer days on the beach, and all things chocolate.


Chris leaves behind his children, Kirstin Fagan and Conor Fagan, as well as his siblings, loved ones, and friends.


Visiting hours will be held on Friday, May 16th, from 4PM to 6PM in Avery Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St. Wakefield. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 17th at 10AM in Avery Storti Funeral Home followed by a burial ceremony at the Rhode Island Veterans' Memorial Cemetery in Exeter.


In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to South Kingstown Athletics Booster Club (SKABC), PO Box 432, Wakefield, RI, 02882. Please note “Volleyball.”
