Christine Hope Cwikla

Christine Hope Cwikla, 96, a resident of South Kingstown since 2002 and formerly of Connecticut, died Saturday, April 25th. She was the wife of the late Michael L. Cwikla. Born in Talcottville, CT, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Winifred (Monaghan) Petig. She is survived by a daughter Leslie McKay and her husband William of Wakefield; two grandchildren, Jennifer Kittredge of Saunderstown, and Michael Kittredge and his wife Elida Erickson of Santa Cruz, CA; she was the sister of the late Frederick Petig. A private funeral service was held and burial took place in the Grove Hill Cemetery, Rockville, CT. The Cwikla family believes in the value of education and they ask that memorial donations be made in her memory to the Jamestown Education Foundation, 77 Narragansett Avenue, Jamestown, RI 02835.
