Chiyoka T. Stanton

Chiyoka T. Stanton, 78, of Railroad Ave, died Thursday. She was the wife of the late Lawrence Hiawatha Stanton. Mrs. Stanton worked in housekeeping and was a talented seamstress and artistic floral designer. She was the sister-in-law of Alberta Wilcox of North Kingstown, Mary Brown of Falls Church, VA and Ellsworth Dodge Stanton of North Kingstown and was a second mother to Lorraine Keyes of West Warwick. Visitation Tuesday 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM followed by a funeral service at 11:30 AM in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. Burial will be in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
