Chester "Chet" W. Walker

Chester “Chet” W. Walker, 73, of Richmond, passed away Sunday, October 9, 2022 at the VA Medical Center. He was the loving husband of Marion E. (Gardner) Walker. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late William and Edith Walker.

Chester was a Marine Corps veteran of Vietnam. He served as a volunteer firefighter for the West Kingston Fire Department and a lifelong member of the Easton, PA Elks Lodge # 4021 .

Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Tonya Walker-Figueroa, a son, Chad Walker, a step son, Thomas Reilly, many beloved grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.

Calling hours for Chet will take place Friday, October 14, 2022 from 10 AM to 12 PM in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. Burial with military honors will follow in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter, RI.
