Chester (Chet) H. Rounseville, Jr.

Chester (Chet) H. Rounseville, Jr. 69, of Peacedale, RI was called home by our lord on Saturday, March 20, 2021 with his devoted fiancée of 17 years, Judy Stanton, holding his hand. Son of the late Chester H. Rounseville, Sr. and Alice "Birdie" (Reposa) Rounseville, he grew up in Peacedale, graduating from South Kingstown High School in 1969. Upon graduation Chet proudly served in the United States Marine Corp. Chet earned a bachelors degree in Business from Colgate University and worked 43 years as a Master Welder at General Dynamics in Groton, CT. Survived by his fiancée, Judy Stanton of Narragansett, RI, his son, Marshall S. Rounseville, of Essex, CT., daughter, Nicole D. Johnson, of Griswold, CT., two grandsons, Darien Bastion Rounseville of North Kingstown, RI and Sassicuis H. Brown of Maine, three granddaughters, AngelFeather Spears-Johnson and Brandy-Ray Johnson of Griswold, CT. and Devine Faith Alexander of Richmond, RI. Chet also leaves behind many cousins, nieces and nephews, not to mention the many, many friends he made along the way. He was predeceased by his brother, Michael Rounseville. There were three things that set Chet apart from the rest of the world, his dedication and love for his family, his commitment to his faith and his incredible work ethic. All of which he tried to instill in his children and-grandchildren. Chet was a devout member of the Kent County Church of Christ, making it his personal goal to share the Lords word. Chet touched the lives of so many. No matter how he felt, when asked "How are you"? the answer was always OUTSTANDING!! Services will be private.
