Cheryl Anne Richards

Cheryl Anne Richards, 61, of Charlestown, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 20th. She was the devoted wife of Scott Richards. Born in Newark, New Jersey, she was the loving daughter of Belmeda (Ponte) Ferreira and the late Carlos Ferreira. Cheryl worked for Senior Helpers. She was a member of Faith Bible Chapel in Westerly and enjoyed a healthy lifestyle. Cheryl was the loving mother of Barry James, Torry James, Alisha Tierney, and Seth Richards; sister of, Errol Ferreira, Carlo Ferreira, Maureen Mako, June Goyette, Bruce Ferreira, Nelson Ferreira, Nancy Ruggiano, Donna Goyette, Denise Marcello, Gregory Ferreira, and Beverly Colombo; three grandchildren, Barry, Jr., Elizabeth and Torry, Jr. She was the sister of the late Kenny Ferreira. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 25, 2013 in the Faith Bible Chapel, 131 Ashaway Road, Westerly. Burial will be private in White Brook Cemetery, Carolina.
