Cheryl Lee Gardiner

Cheryl L. Gardiner (Gardiner), 64, of Charlestown, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 10, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Bertrand E. Gardiner, III for 45 years. Born in South Kingstown, she was the daughter of Arthur and Barbara (Dimon) Gardiner of Wakefield.

Cheryl loved spending time with her family, her pets and her home.

Besides her husband and parents she is survived by her children, Nathan A. Gardiner and his wife Jennifer and Michael A. Gardiner, Jr. of Charlestown; five grandchildren, Katelyn Gardiner, Aja A. Rockwell, Hailey M. Gardiner, Nathan A. Gardiner, Jr. and Cameron N. Randall; two great-grandchildren, Caiden A. and Elias B. Low; four sisters, Lorna Briggs of Hopkinton, Laurie Ricks of Charlestown, Rene Gardiner of Coventry and Michelle Gardiner of Wakefield; two brothers, Arthur Gardiner, Jr. of Charlestown and David Gardiner of Wakefield and her beloved pets, Thor, Roscoe and Paulie. She was the mother of the late Michael A. Gardiner, Sr.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2022, 9-11 am followed by a funeral service at 11 am in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Chariho Animal Hospital, 331 Kingstown Rd., Richmond, RI 02892.
