Charlotte L. Brooks

Charlotte L. Brooks, 73, of Wakefield, passed on September 5, 2017. She was the wife of 52 years to William Brooks, Jr. Born in Providence, daughter of the late Eugene and Catherine (Leamy) DesMarais. She will always be remembered as a beloved and cherished wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Besides her husband she is survived by her four daughters Catherine A. Beauregard, Mary Jane Harvey, Kristine A. Coley, and Jennifer A. Hanus; grandchildren Amanda Harvey, Kaitlyn Harvey, Adam Harvey, Abigail Harvey, Jack Coley, Grace Coley, Mary Kate Hanus, and Charles Hanus; great-grandchildren Jace Vargas-Freni and Ryan Vargas-Freni; siblings Kathleen Trudell, Joseph DesMarais, Maureen Nichols, James DesMarais, the late Robert and William DesMarais. Funeral will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 8:30 am from Avery-Storti Funeral Home with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10:00 am in St. James Chapel, 2079 Matunuck School House Rd, Charlestown, RI 02813. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, September 8 from 4-7pm in Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St, Wakefield. Charlotte’s Life Journey: “In this life we cannot do great things.
