Charles C. White

Charles C. White, 69, of South Kingstown passed away on January 21, 2023. He was the son of the late Fred and Ruth Brownlee White. Charles was the loving and doting husband of Maria “Mimi” Simeone White for 44 years.

Charlie was the ultimate family man. He was a caring and loving father who always put his family before anything. Charlie was a passionate Boston sports fans. He loved the Patriots, Red Sox, Celtics and Bruins and was lucky enough to see each team win a World Championship. Charlie was an avid sports memorabilia collector, enjoyed baking and enjoyed making and delivering soupy to his friends all over town. Charlie was the most caring and attentive Grandfather who babysat weekly for his two grandchildren. Charlie was a long time South Kingstown Little League baseball coach as well as served on the board of directors for many years as the Treasurer. Charlie was also a soccer coach and basketball coach in the South County and South Kingstown Youth sports programs. He also loved going to the beach in the summer with Mimi and celebrating holidays with his family.

Besides his wife, Charlie leaves behind his two sons, Matthew and Brian White, his daughter in law Kristen Leigh Palmisciano White as well as his grandaughter Elena Carolyn White and his grandson Callan Carter White. Charlie also leaves behind his younger Sister Ruth White Carr and her children Kristen Carr Varner, Steven Carr and James Carr.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2023, from 4 to 6 pm in Avery Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St. Wakefield RI 02879.
