Charles M. Weitzner, D.D.S.

Charles M. Weitzner, D.D.S. “Chuck”, 73, of Charlestown, formerly of Manhattan, NY, passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 2014. He was the husband of Susan Ford McKenna Weitzner for 18 years. Born in Manhattan, NY, the son of the late Joseph and Frieda (Spindel) Weitzner. Charles was a prosthodontist with practices in both Manhattan and the East Side of Providence for many years. He enjoyed wood working and metal working; was an avid Duke Basketball fan and a proud alumnus. Besides his wife he is survived by three step-daughters, Lauren McKenna of Westerly, Katie Holland and Moira Young both of South Kingstown; eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Jay Weitzner. His funeral and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers contributions in his memory may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project, P.O.
