Charles R. “Dick” Sisson, 94, of Wakefield, passed away Monday. He was the beloved husband of the late Janie (Boss) Sisson. Born in Taunton, Massachusetts, he was a son of the late Charles F. and Caroline (Wright) Sisson. Mr. Sisson was a Signal Station Operator for Amtrak for many years, retiring in 1981. He was a member of the Friends of the Kingston Station and the Transportation Communications International Union. He was an Army Air Forces Veteran of World War II. He is survived by a daughter, Marbra Petrichko of Charlestown; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 9:00 am in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield. Burial with military honors will follow in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours are Friday 4-6 pm.
