Charles Peabody Lee

Charles Peabody Lee, 68, died in an automobile accident Dec. 10. He was the husband of Camilla (Wall) Lee. They met in high school and were married in New York City in 1966. Charlie was a resident of Narragansett, and worked as a financial adviser for Morgan Stanley Smith Barney in Providence. Charlie attended St. Mark’s School in Southborough, MA and the University of Pennsylvania. Working in the investment business most of his life, he resided in New York, Providence, Boston, Hong Kong, and Tokyo. Living in Narragansett brought him much joy, being near his family, near the water, and near his boat. He served on the Boards of South County Hospital and VNS Home Health Care System. He was vice-president of the Board of Friends of Canonchet Farm. Charlie is also survived by two sons, John Lee and Chris Lee; his mother, Nancy (Peabody) Lee; a sister, Margaret Lee Conroy; a brother, John Philip Lee and two grandchildren, Henry Lee and Phoebe Lee. A memorial service will take place Saturday, December 18 at 11:00 AM in St. Peter’s-by-the-Sea Episcopal Church, 72 Central St., Narragansett.
