Charles W. Cook, Sr.

Charles W. Cook, Sr., 70, of North Kingstown, died unexpectedly Thursday. He was the beloved husband of Merle (Daling) Cook. Born in South Kingstown, he was a son of the late Kenneth E., Sr. and Concetta (DeCubellis) Cook. Mr. Cook was an auto mechanic and enjoyed working on cars. Besides his wife he is survived by two sons, Charles W. Cook, Jr. of Westerly and Timothy J. Cook of Connecticut; a brother, Kenneth E. Cook, Jr. of Vero Beach, FL; a sister, Helen Gee of Sebastian, FL; as well as many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 am Tuesday at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 114 High Street, Wakefield. Burial will be Wednesday at 9:30 am in St. Francis Cemetery, Peace Dale. Visiting hours will be at the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield, Monday 5-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to, the Charles W.
