Charles L. Clauson

Charles L. Clauson, 75, of Wakefield, died Friday. He was the beloved husband of the late Barbara (Cota) Clauson. Born in Warwick, he was a son of the late Henry and Edith (Johnson) Clauson. Mr. Clauson was a former commercial fisherman, quahogger, and had worked at Old Mountain Lanes. In his spare time he enjoyed tending to his yard and garden. He is survived by two children, Karen Sebastian of Wakefield and Edward Clauson of Charlestown; two brothers, John Clauson of North Kingstown and Paul Clauson of Coventry; seven grandchildren and one great-grandson. Visiting hours are at the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield, Thursday, 6-8 pm. Funeral services and burial will be private.
