Charles Jared Buckley, 34, of Narragansett, formerly of Houston and Jersey City, passed away surrounded by his family on September 29th, 2026. He was the husband of Aislinn (Kerrigan) Buckley, the love of his life, with whom he shares a beautiful daughter, Saoirse Grace. He is the deeply cherished son of Guy Buckley and Mary Weldon.

Besides his wife, daughter, and parents, Jared is survived by his siblings: Colin, Nathaniel, and Laura.

All who loved him are invited to gather for an Irish wake in the family home at 30 Seagate Drive in Narragansett, RI on Sunday, October 4th. Visitors are welcome from 2:00 p.m. onwards.

The funeral will be held at St Mary Star of the Sea Church in Narragansett at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 5th.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the USA Hockey Foundation, the Rhode Island Saltwater Anglers Association, or a charity that reminds you of Jared.
