Catherine M. Ryan

Catherine M. Ryan, 93, of Narragansett, died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family and friends on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 . Born in Winthrop, MA, she was the daughter of the late Patrick J. and Delia E. Mulraney. Catherine retired from New England Telephone as a manager after thirty three years of service. She was an invaluable member of St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, Narragansett who worked as volunteer, Eucharistic Minister, and a lector. She leaves her sons, Thomas Ryan of Narragansett and William Ryan of Winthrop, MA; grandchildren Denise Ryan, Jennifer Robertson, Kevin and Michael O’Brien. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, September 13, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. in St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, 864 Pt. Judith Rd., Narragansett. Burial will be in Winthrop Cemetery, Winthrop, MA. Visiting hours Thursday, September 12, 2013, 4-8 p.m. in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield.
