Catherine F. Potter

Catherine F. Potter of Wakefield passed away peacefully on May 29, 2021. Catherine was born in Cavan, Ireland and was the daughter of the late Owen and Bridget Cosgrove. Catherine was married to the late Carleton R. Potter. They were married for 51 years before his passing in February 2020. She leaves her three children, Julie Chapman and her husband Christopher, Colleen Potter and Andrew Potter. Catherine was the beloved grandmother of Zachary Northup and Mia Chapman. She loved knitting and crocheting, drives along the sea, watching birds and having coffee with her friends. Catherine is survived by her sisters, Teresa Black and her husband John, Ann Smith and her husband Philip. She was predeceased by her brother, Andy Cosgrove. Many nieces & nephews and their families all who she loved dearly. Heartfelt thanks to her niece Teresa O’Rourke who took special care of her in her final days. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted and burial is private. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Hope Hospice.
