Catherine J. Ours

Catherine J. (Ciavarini) Ours, 88, of Wakefield, formerly of Newport and Portsmouth, went on her final vacation on Friday, September 18, 2015, at home. She was the wife of the late S. Gene Ours. Born in Newport, she was the daughter of the late Francesco and Mary Ciavarini. Mrs. Ours worked in the medical field for many years before retiring. She enjoyed gardening; an avid reader; was an excellent seamstress; did beautiful needlepoint and mostly enjoyed going on cruises. She is survived by two daughters, Carol Lea Ours of Wakefield and Mary Timmann of Punta Gorda, FL; five grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and a great great grandchild. Her funeral will be private. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
