Carolyn Alice Coppa

Carolyn Coppa, 86, of Narragansett, passed away peacefully at home, Wednesday, May 11th. Born in Providence, RI, she was the daughter of Harris and Evelyn (Rawlinson) Wynaught. She was the loving wife of the late Ralph S. Coppa. Carolyn was a woman who enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Carolyn also held the title of Executive Camp Director for the Girl Scouts of Rhode Island which she truly enjoyed for many years. Gardening and baking with her granddaughters were among her most favorite hobbies. She is survived by her children; Susan Pucillo (Fred), Michael Coppa (Michele), Lori Winter (Jay), Christopher Coppa (Kirsten), Tracy Bianco (James), 12 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. Carolyn is predeceased by her daughter, Judith Costantino. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi church, 114 High St., Wakefield on Thursday, May 19th at 10 am. Burial will be private. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hope Hospice and Palliative Care. 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI.
