Carolyn Boden

Carolyn Boden,84, formerly of Conch Road, Narragansett, died Tuesday. She was the wife of Herbert H. Boden, Jr. for 60 years. Born in Hamlin, New York, she was a daughter of the late John and Gertrude (Newman) Strealdorf. Besides her husband she is survived by a son, Gary Boden and his wife Gayle of Exeter; a daughter Carol Mania and her husband Philip of South Kingstown; a brother, Thomas Strealdorf of Georgia; a sister, Anne Kittel of Florida; and three grandchildren, Jessica Jillett, J. Brett Eves and Katherine Boden. She was the sister of the late John Strealdorf. A memorial service will be held at 3 PM Monday at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd. Burial will be private in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 383 Old North Road, Kingston, RI 02881.
