Caroline Mae Walsh

Sometime on the morning of August 17, our vivacious beloved Caroline Mae Walsh became overwhelmed by some deep underlying feelings of anxiety and depression and took her own life. Caroline was born December 18, 1998 in Providence, Rhode Island. She is profoundly missed by her mother Gayle Walsh, father Ted Walsh, sisters Alexandra and Bethany Walsh, neighbor-sister Briana Skinner, grandmother Elaine Reedy, grandfather Bruce Reid and an extensive loving web of too many humans to mention. Caroline brought great joy to all through her ability to induce laughter, drop inappropriate jokes, and bust out amazing dance moves without warning. She also had a tender nurturing side that many of her friends relied on to help them feel supported during difficult times. In lieu of flowers, the Caroline Sunshine Fund is being created and will be used to provide financial assistance to those who need help accessing programs dedicated to serving mental health and well-being.
