Carol Sandrelli, 73, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 5th, surrounded by her husband and children. Born in Wakefield, to the late Charles and Hazel (Stone) Cinquegrana, she was the youngest of five children, “the baby.” She lived in Wakefield all her life and attended South Kingstown High School.
Carol married her husband William Sandrelli in 1971 and they would have celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary this year. She was an avid reader and loved spending time with her family. She also found great joy in driving a school bus for South Kingstown, which she did for 40 years. She swore that she would drive a bus until the end, and as usual, she was true to her word.
Besides her husband, Carol leaves behind her son William, “Tiger” Sandrelli Jr. and daughter-in-law Jennifer of Westerly, daughter Nicole “Nikki” Sandrelli-Frigon, and son-in-law Brad of Coventry. She also leaves behind her three grandchildren, Zachery, Austin, and Dawn, as well as two great-grandchildren, Luca and Lorenzo. Carol leaves behind her brother Richard Cinquegrana and was predeceased by her sisters, Mary Hume and Catherine Olean, as well as her brother Charles Cinquegrana.
