Carol D. Keenan

Carol D. Keenan, 83 of Gaspee Point Warwick, passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at Yale New Haven Hospital. Born in Plainfield, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Heber and Matilda (Reinhardt) Dunkle.

Carol was a barn manager for many years before retirement and an avid Therapy dog advocate, training her beloved labradors for service to children with trouble reading, chemo and dialysis patients, and so much more. Carol and her dog Woody could be seen walking through her Gaspee Point neighborhood and catching up with neighbors.

She is survived by her two children, Janet Bradley and Brian Reynolds, her brother Jon Dunkle, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren and their extended families.

Services for Carol were private, celebrations of life will follow at a later date.
