Carol Jean Gray

Carol Jean Reichman Gray, 71, passed away July 8, 2013. Born January 10, 1942 in Salt Lake City, UT; the daughter of Hyram R. Reichman and Virginia Stevens, the 3rd of four children. She was a graduate of East High School, completed her Bachelor’s at University of Utah and her Masters at the University of Rhode Island. Carol was the loving wife of Brian L. Gray, they met in Flagstaff, AZ and were married in 1973 in Prescott, AZ. They enjoyed 40 wonderful years together. Carol was a reading specialist at elementary schools throughout Rhode Island. She felt it was important to share her love of reading with others. Carol enjoyed traveling, music, flowers, and was an avid Patriots fan. She loved her family most of all. She was the mother of Jason Gray and his wife Lisa; loving grandmother of Holly, Justin, Kyle and the late Alex; sister of Ann Reichman, Dr. Richard Reichman and the late Lane Reichman. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 13 at 10 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints 1240 Boston Neck Rd., Narragansett, RI. Interment will be in the Jordan Cemetery 240 Boston Post Rd., Waterford, CT at 1 p.m. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
