Carol A. Briggs

Carol A. Briggs, 81, of Saunderstown, passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2019. She was the wife of Robert L. Briggs. Born in North Kingstown, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Agnes (Moon) Boyer. Mrs. Briggs was very involved with the Curtis Corner Baptist Church. She also enjoyed hairdressing, roller skating, making flower arraignments, ceramics, and painting. Besides her husband she is survived by her children Bob Briggs, Jr, Sharon Briggs, Bill Briggs, Barry Briggs, and Brian Briggs; fourteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; a great-great grandchild; and her siblings Theresa, Marylyn, and Charlie. She was predeceased by her siblings Elizabeth and William. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, August 9, 2019 from 9-11am followed by a funeral service at 11am in Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St, Wakefield. Burial will follow in New Fernwood Cemetery, Kingston.
