Bryan J. Perry, 52, of Matunuck, RI, died peacefully at South County Hospital in Wakefield following a sudden heart attack at home. Married for 28 years, Bryan was the husband of Erin Dempsey-Perry. He will be greatly missed by his daughter, Ashley E. Perry, of East Greenwich and his son, Benjamin C. Perry, also of East Greenwich. Bryan was born in Pawtucket to Albert J. Perry and Alice (Thomas) Perry in 1962. He leaves a brother, David Perry, of Seekonk, and a sister, Lynn Haggerty, of South Attleboro. He grew up in Seekonk, and graduated from Seekonk High School in 1980. He then attended U-Mass Amherst. After marrying, he lived in Seekonk, then settled in Rumford with his family, where his children grew up. He worked in the pharmaceutical business for 30 years. He was an avid New England sports fan and was always very athletic himself, excelling at hockey and tennis, especially. For many years, Bryan was on the board of directors at the Seekonk Swim and Tennis Club, where he enjoyed playing tennis and spending time with family and friends. Bryan was a Little League coach for several seasons in Rumford, where he resided for 17 years. He moved to Matunuck with his wife, Erin three years ago and enjoyed the beach, music and unhurried lifestyle. Bryan was a very hardworking, loyal, and dependable person who could always be counted on to help when anyone needed him. He will always be remembered for his great laugh and quirky sense of humor. He was extremely proud of his two children. He will be dearly missed by many people.
