Bruce R. Finnegan

Bruce Robert Finnegan, 71, Matunuck, RI It is with great sadness that the family of Bruce Robert Finnegan announces his passing on, Monday, May 14, 2018, at the age of 71 years. Bruce suddenly passed surrounded by his loving family and will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Lynne Finnegan, son Aaron Finnegan, granddaughter Keia DePina, former wife, Linda Bouvier, his Father, the late Terrence Finnegan, Mother Josephine (Mantoosh) Finnegan, Sister Rosemary Finnegan, brother Kevin Finnegan and his brother the late Terrence Finnegan II. As well as many other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Born in Providence, RI to the late Terrence Finnegan and Josephine (Mantoosh) Finnegan. A graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School and attended CCRI. Bruce was a passionate surfer, since the age of 15 years and an avid biker. He could be regularly be found walking the Matunuck coast. He was always ready to strike up a conversation on his walks with his infectious smile and laugh, his quick wit and humor is what he will be remembered for as well as his kind heart and larger than life personality which will be missed by all. A celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at the Ocean Mist, 895 Matunuck Beach Road, Wakefield, RI 02879 from 5 - 10 PM. All are invited to attend.
