Brett Matthew Shovlin

Brett Matthew Shovlin, 37, of Narragansett, passed away on Wednesday, May 26, 2021. Born in North Kingstown, he was the son of Mark Shovlin and the late Sherry (Crowther) Shovlin. Brett was a graduate of Coastal Carolina University with a Business degree. Brett loved the outdoors, sports, and traveling, but most of all spending time with his family. He especially loved being an uncle to his niece and nephew. Besides his father, he is survived by his sisters, Lindsay DePalma and Kyle Shovlin, brother-in-law Joe DePalma, and niece and nephew Leah and Kelly DePalma. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 from 4-7pm in Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St, Wakefield. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at 11:00am in Peace Dale Congregational Church, 261 Columbia Street, Peace Dale. Burial will be private.
