Bonnie L. (Hull) Romano, 77, of West Kingston, RI, passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. A lifelong resident of West Kingston, Bonnie was the daughter of the late John A. and Isabel (Wheeler) Hull, and the beloved wife of the late Joseph V. Romano.

Until her retirement, Bonnie was a long time employee of Hoffman Engineering. In her retirement and leisure time she enjoyed knitting, crafting, attending arts and crafts fairs, traveling and boating with her late husband, Joseph. She also enjoyed spending time with her many friends and cousins. As a tribute to their lasting friendships Bonnie and her closest friends got matching tattoos, at the age of 75. A proud member of the South Kingstown High School class of 1966, she was actively involved in coordinating class reunions. She was also a 1970 graduate of the University of Rhode Island.

More than anything, Bonnie loved the company of family, especially her dog Chester, who could do no wrong. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy, whom she would have done anything for.

Bonnie is survived by her children, Todd Romano and his wife Karyn of Warwick, RI, Scott Romano and his wife Lauren of Ashland, MA, and Jodi Romano, and her grandchildren: Sophia Romano, Alivia Romano, Noah Romano and Kaya Romano-Medeiros.

Arrangements are in the care of Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield, RI. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, from 5-7PM. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at 10AM, followed by a Prayer Service at 11AM. A Burial will be held at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 201 S. County Trail, Exeter, RI.
