Bonnie L. Oster

Bonnie L. (Reed) Oster, 77 of Wakefield, RI passed away peacefully at home on Monday, May 7th, 2018. She was the loving wife of Donald P. Oster for 53 years. She was born in Groveport, Ohio and was the daughter of the late Ralph and Helen (Stebelton) Reed and the sister to Shirley West and the late Edward Reed. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She leaves behind 3 children: Paula Gordon (Patrick) of Wakefield, RI; Todd Oster (Annie) of Scituate, RI; and Cynthia Ballinger (Robert) of Charlestown, RI; and 6 grandchildren: Taylor Gordon, Alexander Holzinger, Samantha Oster, Anna Holzinger, Rachel Oster and Sean Holzinger. She worked for 20+ years as an office manager at the Chaplains office and Hillel Foundation at the University of Rhode Island. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, playing bridge and being an active member of her church. Calling hours will be held Thursday, May 10th from 5-8 at Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield, RI and a memorial service on Friday, May 11th at 10:00 a.m. at Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 383 Old North Road, Kingston, RI.
