Beverly Ann Gormley

Beverly A. Gormley (Brauns), 84, of Narragansett, passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2016. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late C. Fred Brauns and Christine (Fortin) Brauns-Garlick. Mrs. Gormley was employed by the former Army Map Service, the Narragansett School Department and was a secretary at the University of Rhode Island for 23 years before retiring; was a graduate of the Hope High School in Providence and the New England School of Art in Boston; was an avid reader; enjoyed calligraphy and loved her home. She is survived by her son, Christopher M. Gormley of Wakefield; daughter-in-law, Porschia L. Mason of Narragansett and two grandsons, Jonathan P. and Alexander P. White. She was the mother of the late Peter B. Gormley. Her funeral and burial will be private. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
