Bessie Walmsley Meagher

Bessie Walmsley Meagher, 95, of Narragansett and formerly of Warwick, died Sunday. She was the beloved wife of the late Gerald C. Meagher. Born in Fall River, MA, she was a daughter of the late William E. and Emma J (Marsden) Walmsley. She is survived by six children, Virginia H. Brown, Nancy Meagher, Maureen Cummings, Leonard C. Meagher, Dennis Meagher, and Deborah M. Phillips; six grandchildren, Leah, Sara, David, Trevor, Vicki, and Alexandra; and one great-grandchild, Dylan. She was the sister of the late Walter E. Walmsley. Visiting hours will be a the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street Wakefield, Wednesday, 4-7 p.m. Burial will be private.
