Benjamin A. Peckham, Jr.

Benjamin A. Peckham, Jr., 67, of Wakefield, died Friday at South County Hospital. Born in Newport, he was a son of the late Benjamin A. Sr., and Erline V. (Gatenby) Peckham. Mr. Peckham was employed for over 30 years at Stop & Shop Supermarket. After retirement he enjoyed helping out at Bobby G’s and was an animal lover. He leaves no immediate survivors, but does leave many dear friends in the Wakefield area. A Time of remembrance will be held at the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield, Thursday from 6-7 PM. Burial will be private in Middletown.
