Benjamin S. Carpenter, Iii

Benjamin S. Carpenter, III, 43, of Charlestown, died Tuesday, July 15th. He was the husband of Linda (Luther) Carpenter and they were married 19 years. Born in South Kingstown, he was a son of Sophie (Mongillo) Carpenter of Wakefield and the late Benjamin S. Carpenter, Jr. Mr. Carpenter was the owner of Carpenter’s Auto Body, LTD. in Wakefield. He enjoyed camping and riding his motorcycle. He was a member of the NRA and the Toyota Land Cruiser Association. Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by two children, Brittany M. and Jesse S. Carpenter, both at home, three brothers, Bruce and David Carpenter, both of South Kingstown and John Carpenter of Charlestown, A graveside service will be Monday 11:30 AM in the Carpenter Family Cemetery, Perryville.
