Benjamin Daniel Bernard, 20, of South Kingstown, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 8, 2020. Born in Providence, he was the son of Danielle Bernard of South Kingstown and Benjamin Lister. We are all broken-hearted by his loss. Benjamin loved life and lived it to the fullest, loved living on the edge! He loved his friends and family. He loved music, playing the drums, violin and finally settled with trumpet. Loved playing in the middle school band. Benjamin loved going to the Auto Show & the Monster Jam...he just loved cars!! Ben loved going to hockey games and so loved our special cat Hagrid. Everyone who met him always complimented on how caring and polite he was. He was always making others smile and had such a wonderful personality. As a young kid he and his sister were completely inseparable. He was such a loving person, he would give you the shirt off his back. Besides his parents, he is survived by his siblings, Mary-Claire Bernard and Gabriel Bernard both of South Kingstown; his grandparents, Tina Bernard of South Kingstown, and Karen and Jack Finn of Coventry; his uncle and aunts, Seth Bernard of Texas, Christina Bernard of California, and Claire Bernard of Coventry. Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2020 from 1-3pm followed by a funeral service at 3:30pm in Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St, Wakefield. Burial will be private.
