Beatrice E. Nelle

Beatrice E. Nelle, 87, of Wakefield, died Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Home, East Greenwich. She was the wife of the late Earle W. Nelle. Born in Danielson, CT, she was the daughter of the late John and Evelyn (Mason) Stone. Mrs. Nelle was a LPN at Kent Hospital for thirty years before retiring and served as State President for the LPN Association. She was a member and Deaconess of the First Baptist Church of Narragansett and a volunteer at South County Hospital. She was the mother of William and Robert Nelle of Wakefield, James Nelle of Narragansett, Brian Nelle of Charlestown and Jayne DeConti of Wakefield; grandmother of eight and great grandmother of 3. She was the sister of the late Hazel Cinquegrana, Eleanor Gould, Mildred Sweet, George Stone and Richard Stone. The funeral will be 9 AM Saturday in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. Burial will be in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours are Friday 5-7 PM.
