Beatrice A. Corvese

March 9, 1933 — October 15, 2024

Beatrice A. (Fleuette) Corvese, 91, St. Petersburg, FL, formerly of Wakefield, RI passed away peacefully Tuesday, October 15th, with her devoted son Russ by her side at Roberts Health Centre. Mom decided that after 25 years it was time to reunite with her husband of forty-five years, Ernest Corvese Jr who in 1999, preceded her in death. She departed this world after a brief period of declining health, on her own terms in a peaceful and dignified manner. Just as she lived her life.

She was born in Cumberland, RI, the daughter of the late Winifred and Eva Fleuette. A devout catholic, mom was longtime member of St. Mary’s Star of the Sea Church in Narragansett.

The only jobs that she would ever list on her resume were those of wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and cook whenever a meal was requisite. These were the only jobs that mattered to her and those closest to her, and she truly mastered them all.

She is survived by her four devoted sons E. David (Nancy), Brian, Steven (Francine) and Russel (Suzanne). Grandchildren Kate (Adam), RJ, Remy (Alyssa), Chris (Stephanie), Allie, Kevin (Maria), Courtney, Jason, and Laura and seven great grandchildren. One of her greatest joys was receiving pictures of her great grandchildren every day. She was predeceased by her grandson Matthew, brother Roland Fleuette and sister Anita Mueller. She also leaves many nieces and nephews. Family was the essence of her being and contributed to her longevity.

Despite her passing her legacy will endure. She taught us the importance of family, loyalty, happy meals, and dedication to each other. Simply, she taught us to be better people. Mom made dear and lifetime friends wherever she ventured. She was the glue that held the pieces together.

We thank the staff of Roberts Health Centre for their support, caring and providing a safe and happy environment for mom. They are easily the best.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on Tuesday, October 22nd in St. Mary’s Star of the Sea Church, 864 Pt. Judith Rd, Narragansett. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, October 21st, 2024, from 4 pm to 7 pm in Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St. Wakefield.
