Barry Lane Keinard

Barry Lane Keinard, 84, of Narragansett, passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2023. He was the husband of Gayle C. (Schlegel) Keinard for 61 years. Born in Reading, PA, a son of the late E. Leroy and Emma Elaine (Foreman) Keinard.

Barry was a supervising underwriter for many years before retiring; a member of the Reading ELK Lodge; Galliee Advisory Board; an active member of the Peace Dale Congregational Church and a member of its choir; was an avid fisherman and loved gardening. His happiest times were spent with his family, particularly his grandchildren or out on the water fishing on his boat.

Besides his wife he is survived by his children, Steven Barry Keinard and his wife Karen of Pittsburgh, PA, Christine Elizabeth Parrillo and her husband David of Midland, MI and Sharon Elaine Voyentzie and her husband Gregory of Cohassett, MA; seven grandchildren, Elaina, Jackson, Brianna, Sarah, Alexander, Eric and the late Adam Joseph Parrillo; a brother, L. Scott Keinard and a sister, Cheryl Fink both of Reading, PA.

His funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at 11 am in the Peace Dale Congregational Church, 261 Columbia St., Peace Dale. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, 5-7 pm, in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. Burial will be private.
