Barbara A. Lizotte

Barbara A. (Parker) Lizotte, 92, passed peacefully into Heaven on Saturday, April 10, 2021, at Saint Elizabeth Home in East Greenwich. Born at Newport Hospital, Newport, RI, on March 6, 1929, she was the loving wife of the late Wilfred E. Lizotte. They were married on January 24, 1948 and were together for 68 years before his passing in March 2016. Barbara is survived by her four daughters – Nancy Kellogg and her husband Albert Kellogg of Richmond, RI; Joyce Bazinet and her partner, Karl Stephens of Narragansett, RI; Shirley Marchione of Narragansett, RI and Barbara Tucker of Bristol, RI. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Christopher, Allison, Sarah, Jody, Ethan, Matthew and Mark; many great- grandchildren and she was looking forward to being a great-great-grandma. She was loved and treasured by the residents and staff at Saint Elizabeth Home for her compassion for others, humility, patience and most of all her kindness and sweetness; always putting everyone else’s needs before her own.
