Barbara Claire Charello

Barbara C. Charello (Holmes), 91, of North Providence, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 21, 2022. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Albert E. and Harriet A. (Gleason) Holmes.

Barbara was a C.N.A. working for Golden Crest Nursing Center for many years before retiring. She was a gentle women always caring for others, first in her capacity as a CNA and later caring for family, friends, and acquaintances, never expecting anything in return; enjoyed spending time with her family; was an avid Patriots, Red Sox and NASCAR fan; she will be missed by many especially her daughter Harriet who was her best friend.

She is survived by her children, Harriet A. DiNobile and her husband Bernie of North Providence and Ralph J. Charello, Jr. and his wife Elaine Notarantonio of Saunderstown; grandchildren, Ralph “Rick” Charello and his wife Danielle, Brian DiNobile and his wife Erin, Michael DiNobile and his companion Falen Bergeron, Janice DiNobile and her companion Edward Giarrusso, Derek Charello and his wife Ashley and Evan Charello and his wife Michelle; eight great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews including Dickens, Stephanie, Dillon and Marshall Chakuroff. She was the sister of the late Robert Holmes.

Funeral services will be private.
