Barbara Ann Brown

Barbara Ann Brown (Cooper), 79, of Wakefield, passed away on Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at South County Hospital. She was the wife of Charles S. Brown. Born in Grafton, MA, a daughter of the late Alton and Bernice (Bertrand) Cooper. Mrs. Brown was a secretary for the University of Rhode Island for many years before retiring and a member of the Exeter Grange for more than 40 years. Besides her husband she is survived by her children, Mark Brown and his wife Susan of Charlestown and Kristen Ann Brown of Richmond; three grandchildren, Brian and Melissa Arnold and Thomas Millet; two great-grandchildren, Kourtney McGuire and James Millet; a sister, Karen Conlon of MA and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Sandra Girard. Her funeral service and burial will be private.
