B. Patricia Pat Wyatt

B. Patricia “Pat” Wyatt, 80, of Narragansett, died Tuesday. She was the beloved wife for 61 years of Otis C. Wyatt, retired Narragansett Fire Chief. Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Mildred Kinsley (Russell) Gallagher. Mrs. Wyatt was an Avon Representative for over 35 years. One of her greatest hobbies was genealogy, which she did for over 50 years, and she was a member of the Rhode Island Genealogical Society and had served as past president. Mrs. Wyatt also wrote the Genealogical Column for the Narragansett Times for many years. Besides her husband, she is survived by four sons, Richard C. Wyatt and his wife Lynet Gaia-Wyatt of Montclair, NJ, Robert A. Wyatt and his wife Linda of Erial, NJ, Randall D. Wyatt and his wife Sandra of Clifton Park, NY, and Russell F. Wyatt of South Kingstown; six grandchildren, Chase Wyatt, Austin B. Wyatt, Robert Wyatt, Jr., Michael C. Wyatt, Kristin P. Wyatt and Laura E. Wyatt. She was the mother of the late Steven C. Wyatt and sister of the late Jean Mortensen. Visiting hours will be at the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Saturday from 1-3 PM, followed by a memorial service at 3 PM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Scallop Shell Nursing & Rehabilitation Center Activities Fund, 981 Kingstown Road, Peace Dale, RI 02879 or the Woodbury Union Church Scholarship Fund, 85 Beach Avenue, Warwick, RI 02889.
