Assunta Marie Silva

Assunta M. Silva (Celeberto), 89, of Narragansett, passed away on Monday, April 25, 2016, at home. She was the wife of the late Manuel Silva. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Salvatore and Madeline (Stanzione) Celeberto. Mrs. Silva was an avid bingo player, card player and enjoyed going to arcades. She is survived by her children, Sarah Silva of Port St. Lucie, FL and Manuel Silva of Narragansett; two grandchildren, Coral Maack and Christopher Silva; two great-grandchildren, Ella and Grace Maack; two brothers, Joseph and Salvatore Celeberto both of Narragansett; four sisters, Lucretia Ciolli of Providence, Mary John of FL, Anna Fiske of Providence and Barbara Botelho of Lincoln. She was the sister of the late Domenic Gilberto, Anthony, Michael, Vincent and Ignatius Celeberto and mother of the late Joseph Silva Relatives and friends are invited to attend a committal service on Friday, April 29, 2016, at 10 am in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 301 South County Trail, Exeter.
