Arthur Randy Richmond, Jr.

January 9, 1944 — April 23, 2009

Arthur "Randy" Richmond, Jr., 65, of Wakefield, died unexpectedly Thursday. He was the loving husband and best friend of Cindy Farrell. Born in South Kingstown, he was a son of the late Arthur R., Sr. and Elizabeth (Northup) Richmond. Mr. Richmond was the owner and operator of R & R Excavation. He loved hunting and enjoyed attending and watching NASCAR races. Besides his wife he is survived by six children; Lisa Richmond and Beth Depot, both of Charlestown, Bonnie Laauwe of West Warwick, Jennifer Lancaster of Maryland, David Farrell of Charlestown and Michael Coutu of Hope,; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was the grandfather of the late Clayton Depot. A funeral service will be at 11 AM Monday in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield. Burial will follow in New Fernwood Cemetery, Kingston. Visiting hours are Sunday 3-6 PM.
