Arthur Gardner, Jr.

Arthur Gardner, Jr., 66, of Wakefield, passed away peacefully at home on January 9th. He was the former husband of Susan (Gilman) Gardner of Carolina. Born in South Kingstown, he was a son of the late Arthur, Sr., and Norma (Morrell) Gardner. He was known to many as a Jack of all trades" and could fix just about anything. He enjoyed hot rods, working on his cars, splitting wood, stoking the fire in his wood stove, but his children will forever be grateful for all the times he helped them when their cars needed repairing. He leaves his four children, Leah Gardner of East Greenwich, Arthur Gardner, III and his wife Nikki of Perryville, Derek Gardner of Richmond, and Steven Gardner of Richmond; five grandchildren, Alyssa, Caitlyn, Ethan, Logan, and Lennon; a great-grandson, Elijah; a sister, Marjorie Fowler of Connecticut; and a brother Phil Gardner of Florida Visiting hours will be at the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield Friday, January 18th from 4-7 pm.
