Armando Mancini, Jr. "Kojak", 83, of Johnston, passed away on October 29, 2018. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Armando and Marianna DiMarzio Mancini and husband of the late Jo-Ann (Mowry) Mancini. Armando owned AJ Mancini Asphalt Paving for 40 years and also had a stand at The Big Top Flea Market in Providence. He is survived by his two daughters, Cristen Chartier and her husband Terry of Johnston and Nicole Albergaria and her husband Alan of Wakefield; his grandchildren Tyler, Riley, Cassandra, Alan and Mason; and his brothers Bernadino, John, and David Mancini. He was predeceased by his sisters Adeline and Caroline and his brothers Anthony, Ronald, and Richard Mancini. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, November 1, 2018 from 4-7pm with a prayer service at 5pm in Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St, Wakefield. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hope Hospice, 1085 North Main St, Providence, RI, 02904.
