Arline A. Gardiner

Arline A. Gardiner, 90, of Wyoming, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, January 14, 2015. She was the beloved wife of Joseph R. Gardiner. Born in Providence on January 11, 1925, she was a daughter of the late William and Harriet (Oatley) Jordan. She is survived by two sons, Dennis R. Gardiner and his wife Karen of Wyoming and Robert J. Gardiner of New York; three grandchildren, Robyn Gardiner and Erin Trombino of Westerly, and Jason Gardiner of Kingston; two great-grandchildren, Camryn Falcone and Ava Trombino of Westerly; a brother, Raymond Jordan of Florida; and two sisters, Beverly Almeida of South Kingstown and Dorothy Battiste of Florida. She was predeceased by a grandson Kent Gardiner; two sisters, Marjorie Brown and Celia Rathbun; and a brother Edward Jordan. Funeral services are private.
