Aristidis George Spatharakis

Aristidis George Spatharakis, 19, of Kingston, died unexpectedly Thursday. Born in South Kingstown, he was a son of George and Ann Marie (Vible) Spatharakis of Kingston. Aristidis graduated from South Kingstown High School in June of 2013 and was currently pursuing a Physics degree at the University of Rhode Island. He enjoyed exercise, running and practicing Karate. Besides his parents he is survived by a sister, Natalie Spatharakis of Kingston, his grandmothers, Konstantina Spatharakis of Greece and Laurette Vible of Wakefield; great-grandmother, Vasiliki Metheniou of Greece; great-grandparents, Rita and Edgar Cormier of Peace Dale, aunts Tracey (Jonathan) Hallman of Raynham, MA, Renia Spatharakis and Vicky Spatharakis, both of Greece; uncles, J.B. (Yeizenia) Vible of Warwick and Michael Vible of Virginia. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield. Visiting hours are Sunday 2-5 p.m. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Sierra Club, RI Chapter, 42 Rice Street, Providence, RI 02907.
